Celtic were honoured to have been invited to attend the RoSPA 100yrs Celebration Garden Party last Thursday, and were represented on the day by their UK Health and Safety Manager Trevor Bamber.
The Royal Garden Party was held on 25 May at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the Centenary year of RoSPA, in the presence of the Duke of York.
Prince Andrew was joined by his younger daughter, Princess Eugenie, at the garden party, attended by 3,500 RoSPA staff, volunteers, and members/ supporters in the 26 degree sunshine at Buckingham Palace.
RoSPA, a charity, which works to reduce dangers linked to 14,000 deaths each year, was instrumental in the introduction of compulsory seat belts, the campaign against drink driving, the cycling proficiency test, work place safety and the recent ban on handheld mobile phones behind the wheel.
Celtic are long-term members of RoSPA and have achieved Gold Standard in the annual RoSPA Awards for the last three years running. #Safety
